We’ve evolved from purchasing our first stone to establishing the largest manufacturing presence in Africa and the most extensive networks of sales offices in the diamond industry.
KGK Group started as a gemstone trading company, with sales offices in Hong Kong, New York, Chennai, and Jaipur.
Mr. Ghisilal Ji Kothari was one of the first Indians in the gemstone industry to expand internationally to Hong Kong.
Mr. Navrattan Kothari initiated diamond sourcing operations in Mumbai, India.
KGK set up its first diamond processing facility in Mumbai, India.
KGK was awarded Sightholder status by De Beers.
KGK established a diamond manufacturing unit in South Africa, being one of the first diamond companies to expand manufacturing into Africa.
KGK Group expanded its presence to Europe with a Sales office in the Diamond Capital of the world - Antwerp, Belgium.
KGK Group opened their sales office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
KGK continued to expand its presence in the producer nations, establishing a manufacturing plant in Botswana.
KGK opened a diamond manufacturing facility in Windhoek, Namibia.
